SIGRITY XtractIM
Training
The course covers XtractIM's IBIS/RLGC extraction and advanced broadband,
multi-stage RLC modeling capabilities. Methodology choices are discussed.
Topics reviewed include usage options such as selecting net-based vs.
per-pin models, "grouping" of package pins, crosstalk and modeling reduction
strategies, along with considerations for balancing model complexity and
bandwidth. If time permits additional focus will be given to:
Determining the appropriate extraction frequency for the
targeted package design.Using IBIS package models in analysis for signal
integrity, SSO, etc.Understanding the contribution of the XtractIM
embedded full-wave solver on extraction accuracy. This class is targeted
for new and existing customers who want to maximize the benefit of
the Sigrity toolset within their design flow. Course Timing
The course is 0.5 day.
