The steps for this are:

  1. Visit Cadence Online Support at http://support.cadence.com
  2. Login using your COS userID and password.  Sign up at http://support.cadence.com/en/signup/SignUp.jhtml if you do not have a userID.
    You will need to have the following information handy when you register a new account:
    • First and last names
    • Phone number
    • Company name
    • Street address
    • City/State/ZIP
    • Country
    • Email address
    • Active license server HostID number
    (Note:  This can be found in the license file on the line that says SERVER or you can ask your system administrator.)
  3. Navigate to the Service Requests page by selecting the Service Request link.
    Cadence online support provides users with these key capabilities:

    • Powerful search engine to find relevant information in the knowledge database
    • Ability to set preferences to receive periodic notifications of newly published solutions, new software updates, releases, critical solutions and more on the products you select
