SIGIRTY ANNOUNCES
New SPEEDXP Suite Release 3.2

New features and functionality significantly enhance capabilities and ease of use

SANTA CLARA RA, Calif., October 3, 2003 - Sigrity, Inc., a market leader in silicon-package-board design analysis solutions, today announced its latest SpeedXP Suite 3.2 release, including features and functionality that will significantly enhance capabilities and ease of use.

SIGRITY’s power and signal integrity tool suite, SpeedXP, which includes SPEED2000, PowerSI, and Broadband SPICE, utilizes a hybrid of the most advanced simulation techniques to address growing challenges in high-speed design, including power and ground analysis, decoupling capacitor placement, return path discontinuity effects, simultaneous switching noise and electromagnetic radiation.

Release 3.2 adds a variety of new features and functionality to SpeedXP Suite, including support of Intel’s 64-bit Itanium 2 Processor running Windows OS. With access to more than 2GB of memory, SPEED2000 and PowerSI now have the capacity to handle much more complex structures.

Other major enhancements include automatic IBIS circuit generation, connection, and pin mapping in SPEED2000, spatial solution mode operation in PowerSI, and newly developed algorithms that enable PowerSI to be used for IR drop analysis in PCBs and IC packages. Many other enhancements extend to all three products within SpeedXP Suite, which is available now for customers on maintenance at our customer download page along with an extensive list highlighting the newly released features and functionality.
